My wife, girl friend at the time, bought me my first Swatch for my birthday. Black band, easy to read, not flashy and it had a date!!! With absolute confidence I have corrected people as to the time, day and date. If you take your time and set it exactly this masterpiece of form and function will maintain amazing accuracy!!
When I got my new "Once and again" I was as happy as I was in 1986 when I received my first. I try to treat myself to a swatch at least once a year and when I get to go buy a Swatch store I stock up on batteries bands, accessories and they usually clean and polish the one on my wrist. Some 25 years later everyone in my family has at least 2 Swatches.
I believe it is time for a larger size and maybe with an alarm function included....
Today I think it finally met it's demise. Thank God I can still buy the same watch. And did I say it was absolutely positively the best watch ever!
P.S - The watch does make a ticking sound which oddly enough is quite evident, not a major deal breaker for me but odd none the less.
THE BEST QUALITY FOR ME IS IT'S LIGHT WEIGHT!!!!
OH...AND IT'S REMARKABLE ILLUMINATED DIAL THAT HOLDS UP THROUGH THE NIGHT! I HAVE HAD 3 OF THESE FINE
TIME PIECES... COULDN'T DO WITHOUT ONE! BATTERY LASTS A LONG TIME AS WELL.
