it does have a very audible tick. in a quiet room or car i can easily hear it and my son once asked if there was a bomb in the car. i often have to take it off at night or at least bury my wrist under a pillow.
ive recieved mant compliments and it keps great time.
How can i sleep with this clock, how can i work with this clock...
Durability? Well, we'll just have to see.
i got wired scratches on the screen, which made of plastic i guess, i clean it with nail polish remover.
the battery still alive, the bands kinda piling off.
but hi, i got it 2 years already !
I'm on year 5 and I've had to replace the watch once because I scratched the face. I'm on about my 7th band between the two (like the other reviewers, this is the only thing I get pouty about), but I figure, if I basically live in this watch, I should expect some wear and tear. Is it loud? Yes. Do I mind? No. I hope Swatch keeps this style in their lineup forever! I'll keep buying it.
Wore it to play tennis, but being plastic I thought it would be durable enough.
It is cracked at the hole I always put it in (expected) but the plastic is peeling off. The plastic thing that holds down the excess strap when buckled up broke too. And yes holy cow what a loud tick!
Thing is, I still love it. If it were any other watch I would find all this as cause for major complaint. I just need to get a replacement strap.
The only downsides is that it ticks incredibly loud, but Im used to it and dont even hear it anymore--> exceot at night when i take it off and have to stuff it under the bed.
Also, the bands dont last very long, but the replacments are $15, so I replace them. :)
