Two issues that I have seen:
1) This one is minor.... the crown has to be pulled out to the first notch to change the date and the second one for changing time. I sometime run into problems getting the crown to latch correctly in the first notch for changing the date. Hopefully this will not get worse with time.
2) This one is not minor. A crack has appeared *inside* my watch and is visible from the back window. It is on the transparent disk attached to the central screw, starting from the screw going out. Will try to see if I can get my watch replaced for that. Here are two photos showing the crack:
It took a little while to settle in and after two weeks is remarkably accurate and reliable. It is very comfortable, (I like the strap) and I have gotten several complements on its appearance. I had been wearing a 50+ year old Omega manual wind watch, and this is more accurate (and far more accurate than two older Omega automatics). The one caveat would be that in the first day or so of wearing it, I inadvertently banged it on the bar of a fence and caused a visible but small bruise. Not enough to harm it or ruin it, but one does need to be alert to this. Would definitely recommend it.
Now that I know thats how it operates I make sure to wind it and wear it often. I receive many compliments on the watch.
fun watch. I wear it when i am doing my morning
work out in the pool. this new 51 keeps as good
a time as my three Rolex's.
I waited eleven months for the sistem 51, and it
was worth the wait. what a deal for $150.00
